“If the state loses its grip over your mind, it loses the key to its very survival.”
~Lew Rockwell~
“Awe” and “Fear” are two very different things.
When a society is full of people who combine dignity, generosity, and humanity, and who are self-disciplined and positively influence others, the society will be free and productive, and the leaders will inevitably be awe-inspiring. This is because what binds people together is a kind of “cosmic majesty” backed by true culture.
A society with many people who are only interested in “just now, just money, and just themselves” is stagnant and unproductive, and the leaders are inevitably people with little (or no) human attractiveness and ability, who try to maintain the system by binding people who inwardly mock each other with fear. But it won’t last.
A society or organization in which people with no ability and no results cling to positions and titles naturally does not attract the people who belong there. And this means that the internal collapse is already underway and a visible collapse is imminent.
